Responsibilities

Theming the site where an event is going to take place Communicating with clients on what they would like to see in their event Using my creativity to come up with original ideas that have never been done before for repetitive events Working with the stock in the warehouse to ensure the products are in the correct place Loading and unloading the company van with what is needed for events that day Attend weekly meetings regarding the events that week

Accomplishments

I was able to help plan a larger event for a well-known company called Optus here and then execute and set it up with no supervision from the team I work with. I was able to use my creativity and see what would look best where and at the end of the day the client was very happy.

What advice would you give?

Take advantage of interning while studying abroad. It is a great way to learn how a different country works in the field you want to go into. It can be challenging but also very rewarding. I know that I will be able to take many of the skills I have learned from Bespoke Social back home and hopefully improve the company I work for. Also if you are able, have multiple internships throughout your college career. It is not only a great way to get experience in your field but will allow you to stand out to future employers.
