Assisting the Health and Wellbeing Director with setting up wellness events, organizing health and wellness activities, creating a weekly newsletter, constructing promotional flyers and posters, and many other administrative responsibilities. Traveling to resident communities to assist with biometric screenings, and providing support during wellness meetings.
My greatest accomplishment was being able to organize and compile data from Meals on Wheels client surveys, that I then presented to company leaders of a Meals on Wheels business partner. The findings were used to determine successful practices, client needs, and options for improving client satisfaction.
What advice would you give?
My advice to future students is to build your organization skills. Tasks may come to you from hour to hour and you need to keep your priorities organized. Your calendar and notebook will be your best tools.
