Responsibilities

- Setup Market and help vendors with setup - Implement market responsibilities - photos, videos, answer inquires from community, engage with community, tear down - Maintain and provide digital content for social media platforms (Facebook , Instagram, Twitter) - Work solely and directly with Market manager to bring innovative ideas, problem solve, and bring efficiency to the market - work supplementary for the Ames Chamber of Commerce on other events or en-devours

Accomplishments

The greatest accomplishment would be providing the flier for the first annual Farm to Table fundraiser event. The flier I created was worked on for many hours. And I was no stranger to trail and error. What I enjoyed the most about this accomplishment was interacting with the Chamber Board of Directors and working hand & hand with the Special Events & Sponsorship Coordinator and the Marketing Director. At the end of many different prototypes the final draft was complete. After completion the content was delivered all throughout the City of Ames. Every entity/business that is part of the Chamber had my flier advertised for there viewing. These moments were the best for me and it was great to see team work at its finest to accomplish success.

What advice would you give?

For future students i have three pieces of advice to offer. 1. Listen first and listen again. 2. Go above and beyond 3. Do not be afraid to fail
