Deissy Gonzalez

Responsibilities

I was responsible for helping assist team leaders in planning future clothing pop ups. I worked daily at the showroom where clients were welcome to come in and look around and purchase clothing. My other responsibilities consisted of helping team leaders with running errands and resolving any customer service inquiries. I also helped merchandise the showroom, keep samples organized, and set display mannequins in the showroom.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment during my internship was having the opportunity to move to Los Angeles, California and getting the chances to work with all kinds of different people. I have met some amazing people and have learned so much from them.

Learning experience

The greatest lessons I learned from this experince is always get out your comfort zone. When I was applying for internships out of state, I never imaged I would get the opportunity to move to a different state and meet all kinds of people. This has been one the greatest opportunities in my life and I have learned so much.

What advice would you give?

Advice I have for future students is always get out of your comfort zone even if it seems like you can't accomplish it. Also always network and never limit yourself because you never know what kind of opportunity you could have next.
