•Educate and actively promote older adults ages 60 and older to take advantage of community resources to help them retain their independence •Advocate for older adults in need of assistance and/or resources •Have a working knowledge of local community resources, make appropriate referrals based on participant needs •Conduct home-visits and assess the safety

What advice would you give?

Don't be afraid to ask questions and voice your opinion. Secondly, be yourself and step out of your comfort zone.
