Responsibilities

As the Boone County Chamber of Commerce's Event Intern, my primary responsibility included working with chamber members and chamber staff. Each day consists of basic office task, as well as creating marketing techniques and designs for the multiple events the chamber hosts, we also spend a day organizing the office.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment from my internship is being able to use my creative side while learning to work with new software. I have created multiple marketing publications to be used for event in Boone County, and its great to see how much my work is appreciated.

What advice would you give?

My advice is to bring in new industry trends they love to learn what is new and how to incorporate them into the industry. Don't be afraid to put forth your creativity, design, and industry knowledge and take risks.
