Devonny Goodman

Responsibilities

During my internship my responsibilities included roles for both health coaching and marketing. I participated in meetings with the team, collaborated with others, and created social media promotional content, collaboration with sales decks, and learned about health coaching. The majority of my internship consisted of promotion of AbumHealth's product, YEHS (Your Emotional Health Score).

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was being able to use my creativity, and health promotion skills to create content on my own. I was able to use my cats in videos to demonstrate the product and different health topics for social media.

Learning experience

My greatest lesson learned during my internship is to ask questions when you have them. I was able to be apart of projects that I did not have all of the knowledge for like sales. By asking questions I was able to assist in lots of projects.

What advice would you give?

My advice for future students in Kinesiology is to make sure you are really understanding all of the content in courses. During my internship I was able to use information I had learned in my courses and apply them to AlbumHealth. The information you learn in Kinesiology courses is very valuable for your internship and career.
