My greatest accomplishment came when I fully realized that this was what I wanted to do with my life and that I truly had found something that I was ultimately passionate about. It came when my client was talking about how excited he was that he was feeling the results of the program I was having him go through. That week we were going to be holding a bench press competition and I told him to come in and see what he could get. He hit 100 pounds for the first time in his life and the look on his face of pure joy was all I needed.
I learned that you just need to be true to yourself and be open. Working with people and watching them grow is very rewarding, I have made so many friends and countless memories by being just a little bit more than present. Put yourself out there and good things will happen. It will happen slowly still but, you just have to keep at it.
What advice would you give?
Do what scares you. I know we all have things that we are worried about whether it's if we chose the right path or what you are gonna do when you graduate. One thing is for sure is that all of it is scary. You have to push through that initial fear because you never know what may lie on the other side. Deciding to do that courageous thing will have one major out come, and that is it will teach you something. Maybe you hated it but hey you tried and that's the biggest thing i can tell you, take the leap.
