My greatest accomplishment during my internship experience was getting comfortable with the duties/tasks I was given. When I first started, I was very nervous because I had little experience with biometric screenings and explaining results to real life participants. I feel I have grown a lot and gained a lot of knowledge.
My greatest lesson from this experience is that all new things are going to be a learning curve. You will not get things perfect on the first try. Take your time to get to know it as you will heavily benefit from it. At the end of it all, you will feel like a professional!
What advice would you give?
Always seek out opportunities within your profession and establish connections! I have gained relationships from this experience so do not be afraid to network.
