Accomplishments
My greatest accomplishment at my internship was forming meaningful relationships with the 3-5 year-olds I worked with, as well as with my coworkers.
Learning experience
I learned so much about child development and how to best support young children who are growing up in changing times. I further learned about crucial stages of development and how to best encourage children in those stages. A final great lesson I learned while at my internship is that good communication will foster healthy and happy relationships with supervisors and coworkers in professional work environments.
What advice would you give?
My advice for future students in my major is to communicate well with those you work with, and don't be afraid to ask questions or share your ideas!
