My greatest accomplishment during my internship experience was being given the opportunity to design and create crisis management for my company. My company had no crisis management in place before I came on as an intern. I was able to make something of my own and implement it into the company's practices. It is very rewarding to see something you've created be use to help keep employees safe in their workspace.
Some of the greatest lessons I learn from my experience came from my fellow co-workers. Coming into my internship I expected it to be very strict and professional. Although my company was extremely professional, my coworkers also showed me that its okay to have a little bit of fun at work. Sometimes you have to get away from your desk and move around to have a productive day. I also learned that communication is very important. Whatever you may be working on, it's vital that you talk with your coworkers and managers in order for the project to be successful. As soon as the communication falters, so does the project. Having clear communication with your team, whether you're working together on an assignment or not, allows for everyone to be on a similar level of understanding.
