Responsibilities

Each week I order inventory each week and manually counted inventory and recorded what was being sold or not sold. I changed out the visual merchandising of store front, windows, behind the register display and table signage. During my internship I also created new specials and promotions following the Holiday and events going on locally.

Accomplishments

I loved being able to help design new t-shirts to sell to customers and for employees to wear. It was challenging to create something that had to have a certain look but I got to experiment with fit, colors, style and materials.

What advice would you give?

Make connections. You may not realize that your best friends have people that you can connect with and receive job opportunities from. Network with those who have the same interests as you and see how far you can go.
