Created admissions packets for new clients. Assisted medical records with filing documents and processing physician's orders. Assisted with contacting current clients about resumption of services and marketing via the company Facebook page. Answered phone and provided front reception assistance. I feel that my greatest accomplishment was in building many different skill sets. I was able to practice professional communication, medical records processing, and build marketing skills. These are all skills that I feel will benefit me professionally and aid me in my future career.

Learning experience

During my internship, it was very important that I worked to find tasks that would enhance my experience and also benefit the company. Due to the Covid-19 crisis many of my initial responsibilities could no longer be performed. This enabled me to practice taking initiative and develop better leadership skills.

What advice would you give?

My advice would be to treat your goals and tasks as opportunities. Even if you are unsure of what to do, it's a chance to build your skills and learn.
