Responsibilities

Writing curriculum for the Clover Kids Program, which is kindergarten through third graders. After we have written the curriculum we then go out and pilot the lessons and make changes or finalize what we have created to be published to our website for Counties to use them in their programs.

Accomplishments

I have made many connections with networking with everyone throughout the office and others who come into our office. I have learned how to be professional, and create important relationships for my future.

What advice would you give?

When you are looking for an internship, career or whatever it is you may be looking for, it is important to keep your goals and wishes of what you want your future to look like in mind. This is where you will learn if this is what you want to do, or possibly a different path. It is all very important. I think that it is also important to remind future students that although a paid internship would be great, don't turn down a possible unpaid position that is perfect for something that is paid that you could be just settling for.
