Responsibilities

Credentialed paraprofessional who works with children and adolescents receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to implement their intervention plans working under close, ongoing supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with additional duties to assist the Clinic Supervisor with the ongoing upkeep of the clinic.

Accomplishments

Being able to observe and experience strong collaboration between technicians, BCBAs, teachers, and supervisors to best benefit our clients and their outcomes!

Learning experience

A great lesson I learned during my internship is that no two days are the same. Having a flexible mindset will set you up for success, and always start a new day fresh!

What advice would you give?

Don’t be afraid to expand on your experiences and to take a step out of your comfort zone! There is always room for growth so don’t seek yourself short!
