Responsibilities

My responsibilities included researching numerous brands and influencers and sending them collaboration pitches by email every day. I also designed multiple Instagram Stories for two different clients every week. My two biggest projects were developing a photoshoot schedule and designing a media kit for a client to send in their future collaboration pitches.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was creating my first media kit. I utilized Canva and had the opportunity to learn the importance of a media kit and how it could make or break collaborations. It was my first time every creating one and I'm very proud to put it in my portfolio.

Learning experience

Communication is key to understanding you are on the right path for all projects and daily responsibilities. It's okay to ask your supervisor to challenge you and give you something that'll push you out of your comfort zone. Staying organized and productive will keep you as efficient as possible each day.

What advice would you give?

Apply to internships early and always ask questions. Ask questions during your interviews and during every day on the job. Learn as much as you possibly can and don't be afraid of seeming overbearing with your questions. Your supervisor and co-workers will love to teach you!
