Responsibilities

Set up and tear down events Open and close beach Supervise Kids' Club Program and implement environmentally oriented programs which are safe and fun for all participants. Facilitate assigned day-to day resort activities Assist with the implementation and supervision of activities for guests throughout all major holidays. Enhance guests experience through activities and programs.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishments while working for BCL was when we got to be a part of the annual Memorial Day Event. From seeing how it was being set up, how the event runs, and how fast everyone cleans up once it was over. That day holds many memories and I learned so much.

Learning experience

A lesson that I learned was to have patience and fake it till you make it. At BCL they have one rule. Wave at everyone with a smile on your face. No matter what kind of day you are having, once you clock in, you are the happiest person on the planet.

What advice would you give?

When choosing an internship, before you start it, make sure you do your research and investigate it. Ask questions and do your homework on the company and on the position.
