I assist in managing a caseload of 16 clients who receive services through our company. I work roughly 20 hours in the office doing administrative work and 20 hours doing direct care each week.
I've really enjoyed working directly with my clients and learning about their needs as individuals. Our members and their families invest a lot of trust into our company and it's important we take the services we provide very seriously because of that. Working with the clients I've felt the most connected to the mission of our company.
What advice would you give?
If you're unsure about working with the dependent adult population try it out and see if you change your mind. I think this is one of the most rewarding communities to assist and am very proud of the work we do.
