Responsibilities

My internship consisted of running exercise session for participants in a variety of studies. I was responsible for inputting data in the systems we had place and made sure the data was accurate and thorough so that analysis at team meetings were clear and concise. I was responsible for keeping the gym area clean and everything running smooth. I was responsible for opening and setting up the lab area for myself and others to be prepped. I was in charge of completing analyst tasks such as review numbers and missing data as well as getting figures and charts to present in team meetings.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment consisted of feeling satisfied after a participant felt improved after being given advice. They improved each week especially with the skills that were taught from the first weeks and they walked out extremely happy and satisfied.

Learning experience

I learned that I am my biggest critic when working with team and grading myself at the things that I do. I also learned that I can do better at asking question and that asking questions can help you grow and there is never a dumb questions. ASK ALL AND EVERY QUESTION!

What advice would you give?

I would say ask as many questions as possible and be as involved during your earlier years as well. It will help you build years of experience and succeed in every way.
