Responsibilities

I observed the program site leader for the first half of my internship hours. Now I am working side by side with the site leader to gain the knowledge of how to run the program day to day.

Accomplishments

I have been able to successfully work with students with high behavioral needs.

What advice would you give?

Keep an open mind when you begin your internship experience. It may be more challenging then you had originally expected. Take initiative and gain as much information as you can. Hands on experience is the best learning tool that could be given to you, so don't waste the time you have.
