During my time at AMADI, I was able to work in direct contact with showroom and boutiques about their orders. I also created invoice, line sheets and excel sheets to help with organization of the sales along with our inventory. I worked many hours in the warehouse counting and organizing the inventory to help us sell our excess inventory to larger wholesalers/larger wholesaler websites.
I would say my greatest accomplishment was the line sheets I created for the FashionGo website. I first had to count all the inventory we had in our warehouse and record this on AMP and on the website. I then had to capture images of this items so we could showcase them on the website. I then had to come up with description for each items to help them sound more appealing to buyers. We were able to sell multiple bundles off this website and I am proud to say I help get them into a new home and not collect more dust in our warehouse.
What advice would you give?
Research the company that you are going to work for. Smaller companies do have a lot to give, but don't let them take advantage of you just because you are their intern.
