I facilitated activities for clients. Engaged in one-on-one interactions with clients and provided end-of-life care.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment during my internship was applying what I have learned over the past four years to real-life experience. I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about these people's lives and what they have experienced.

Learning experience

I think I learned a lot about providing end-of-life care and greatly appreciate older adults. I learned so much about the people that I cared for, they taught me so much about life and how they have persevered through so many life events.

What advice would you give?

Find what makes you happy within the field of human development. I found that I enjoyed gerontology so much through my classes. In this field, you can take so many classes that you can really explore what you want to do in the future.
