Responsibilities

In addition to running the front of the house, I investigate industry trends by finding the latest news articles and analyzing the latest trends. I assist in managing the hotel's social media and look for reviews of our hotel.

Accomplishments

I have been praised by industry leaders and executives for the latest trend news articles I have found are very useful.

Learning experience

When I sent an invitation for our hotel to social media influencers, I was confused so I sent it with a group message. My supervisor was upset. I learned that it is more courteous to invite each person individually.

What advice would you give?

Corporate life is very regular and there is a repetitive routine. It is a life of self-restraint, patience, and self-control, and there are limits to doing what you want to do.
