Prepare the stadium each day for games, execute on field promotions, develop marketing strategies to bring fans to games, manage inventory on concession items and beer, execute sales calls to area business for community weekends to sell tickets and occasionally assist with preparing the playing field on game days.
Deciding on promotions with my fellow interns to help promote games and see them be effective.
What advice would you give?
In the field of sports business, building connections is extremely important. The business is so big, but at the same time it is very small where everyone seems to know everyone, so leaving a good impression is key for a good reference for the future.
