Responsibilities

Compiling data into spreadsheets for multiple projects; Working with sample gowns in preparation for trunk shows and company presentations/events; Supporting Designers with creative process and draping for upcoming collections; Assisting Quality Control department with gown review as they ship in from factory; Observing fit sessions and technical package creation; Coordinating shipments of sample gowns to retail stores for trunk shows; Assorted seamstress work to help out in-house seamstresses with various alterations; Helping Fabrications department organize in-house lace library

Accomplishments

My personal greatest accomplishment from this internship was the relationship I built with the designers of the company. During their draping sessions in June and July, I was in charge of supporting them in any way they needed and documented their processes for designing gowns. The networking that was made this summer was crucial to opportunities for my future.
