Responsibilities

Throughout this internship I have the experience with grant writing, coordinating volunteers, social media, training video, and many more things. During this, I have also helped with planning the gala and 5K walk in the fall because I started my internship early with doing 100 hours in the fall. With that, I have also been able to experience what board meetings are like and how to run a board meeting.

Accomplishments

I think that my greatest accomplishment has been the training video that I made. With that, I got experience working with the bylaws of an organization and now I have a better understanding of what it is like to create a training template. I want to go into HR after graduation so this is something that I was very passionate about.

What advice would you give?

You might not find an internship that fits your exact deal job. With that, go into an internship with an open mind and experience everything you can. It will make you more knowledgeable in other areas and employees love to see that you have diverse work experience!
