Responsibilities

I helped work with buyers at market weeks, merchandised the showroom after each new collection came in, entered data and daily showroom orders into Seladex and JOOR, worked on Instagram stories and posts for the showroom and promoted our brands.

Accomplishments

I had the privilege of taking over the August Showroom's Instagram for the summer and had to create and post 3-5 instagram stories a day to promote the brands that we represent. It was a cool project to have because I got to improve my social media and advertising skills

What advice would you give?

Start the internship search as soon as possible and try to get one the summer after sophomore year instead of waiting until after junior year. Take every experience or offer that you get because it's all about experience and connections in the fashion industry.
