Kaelyn Swartout

Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Director with a wide range of tasks ranging from administration duties, to donation collection/organization, to hands on work with the residents. I have been able to gain experience from attending Board Meetings, getting information out into the community and working with residents.

Accomplishments

The greatest accomplishment that I have experienced is the ability to make a difference in the life of the residents. The residents feel comfortable approaching me for help regarding any area of their life. I can see the difference I am making through the resident's successes.

What advice would you give?

Put yourself out there and make the most of this experience. It's a hands on experience that will prepare you for life after college in whatever career you end up in.
