Responsibilities

I was elected to be the lead teacher of the butterfly room, which is preschool aged children. I planned and executed lesson plans each day. I also was in charge of planning the field trips and other activities. Parent communication and communication with the director was essential in this role.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was when parents noticed my work and complimented me for it. It is always great to know that you are making a real difference. I loved seeing the kids have fun with my activities.

What advice would you give?

My advice would be to find something that you are very passionate about so it never feels like work.
