Responsibilities

I provided virtual health coaching to participants enrolled in the Walk With Ease program. I also assisted with the coordination of behavioral health programming through the CHPcommunity and assisted with the pilot Walk With Ease in the worksite program. I also was responsible for learning how to utilize the BSDI software and apply it to future worksite interventions.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was successfully leading participants through the Walk With Ease program as their health coach.

Learning experience

The greatest lesson I learned was to not give up or give in when things get hard. Every new experience brings new challenges and learning how to embrace and overcome those challenges is a great skill to have.

What advice would you give?

Don't panic if you don't know what you're doing. Entering a new situation or experience is scary and will feel uncomfortable but as time goes on it will start making more sense.
