Responsibilities

Organizing swatch and color libraries, creating a mini line, digitizing fabric libraries, and learning about the ins and outs of how Goldbug designers communicate with other companies to create products

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was organizing the swatch library. I had to sort through years of swatch cards sent by different factories. While going through the swatches, I had to purge the cards that wouldn't be used by the designers. This was a huge task and took three weeks, but I feel very accomplished with finishing this job.

Learning experience

I learned that it's okay to not be great at what your doing when you first start. Its okay to ask questions and no one is expecting you to know everything, especially in a new job or experience! Every opportunity is a way to learn something new!

What advice would you give?

Don't be stressed! Enjoy your time during your internship and make connections while you're there. Remember this is a learning experience and not your forever job. Also, make friends with the other interns. You might just make a great friend!
