I was the lead baker, making scones and bars weekly for FarmGrounds Coffee Shop as well as working in the kitchen for catering events on the weekends.
My greatest accomplishment was successfully cooking an entire catering event by myself. If anything went wrong on the event, I was the point person and had to solve it. It was great to be independent and put my skills to use.
What advice would you give?
Use all the knowledge you are receiving from our program and try to put it to use in the real world. It'll make studying and working so much more interesting!
