Responsibilities

My responsibilities included contacting clients, responding to their questions, a lot of emails, creating Pinterest boards for inspiration, attending networking events, researching vendors, meeting with vendors, working on social media platforms, and working on a team to create successful events.

Accomplishments

I was able to assist in planning Wish Upon a Wedding's first annual Summer Social! (fundraising event) It was so cool to see all the hard work put into the event come to life before my eyes.

What advice would you give?

Contact as many potential internship companies, even if they don't say they have internship positions on their websites! It will never hurt to ask if they have opportunities available.
