Responsibilities

It is my full responsibility to attend to all guest needs, wants, and desires. For each event there is a set up to be done beforehand, so it is my duty as an intern to set up the correct layout for the event. Set up includes supplying the correct buffet line if there's a need for one, placing the ideal number of tables and chairs within the room, and then to ensure the event is run as smoothly and correctly as possible.

Accomplishments

The greatest accomplishment I have received from this internship is working side by side with some of the most important people of our generation. I've worked and set up the event for the Amazon CEO, Bezo. Getting this type of experience is one in a million, and here it's become my everyday lifestyle.

What advice would you give?

My advice would be to go out of your comfort zone. Coming to the internship out of state taught me a lot about who I am and who I desire to become. I've networked with some incredible business leaders, but I've also caught myself crying at times from the stress. But, all in all, I will say your hard work does pays off, and you want to work harder when these amazing opportunities are offered to you. Take the risk, go out of your comfort zone. You never know what's waiting for you on the other side of the mountain.
