Responsibilities

I am interning for YSS this summer for there summer enrichment program through Nevada. This program is 6 weeks long that focuses on fun and educational activities throughout the summer. There are four different major topics that we focus on which are Literacy, STEM, THeme, and PE. It is a very fun environment for the kids and supports them through those summer months.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment throughout this experience is being able to connect and help these children through tough times. It is awesome to watch them grow and see them change throughout these six weeks.

What advice would you give?

The advice I give is to always go in with a positive and open mind, I understand that the work can be difficult, but it is going to get you to where you want to be if you put the effort in.
