Responsibilities

Assisting the Director of the Center with multiple tasks that involved running a successful non profit organization. I was able to be a leader and implement strategies that helped make the Center run smoothly and effectively by having input on staff scheduling for the day as well as communicating with families on a daily basis. I was also responsible for providing care, guidance and a safe environment to children.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment during my internship has been finally deciding on what I want to do with my future career. I have chosen a path that I know will bring me joy and happiness during my years in the workforce. I have found my passion and what I want to do for the rest of my life through this experience.

What advice would you give?

My advice for future students is to put your all into your internship and make sure to choose something that you are passionate about. Settling on an internship just to get it over with is not the best decision and in the end you will short yourself because it truly is a great learning experience.
