Responsibilities

My responsibilities during my internship is treat well to VIP customers, learn how to use OPERA system to handle check-in and check-out, food and beverage (forecasting and handle the cost), and concierge.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment during this internship is when I was in the university, I only learned hospitality management in words. However, through the internship, I could act and use what I've learned during my three year in college.

Learning experience

The greatest lessons I learned from my experience was there are a lot of different types of people and I need to be overwhelmed with various situation. There were a lot of unexpected situation and customers but it is my responsibility to deal with this problem.

What advice would you give?

For the future student, do not expect too much when you go to internship. There were about 100 interns in this hotel, but after one week most of them leave because they dreamed about fancy hotel, but in reality, it is more hard work than easy work. Also, deal with people's emotional problem is not easy.
