Responsibilities

As an intern I was able to observe and practice crisis calls. I attended court hearings. I was also able to participate in group sessions with youth. In addition, I got to sit in on informational sessions with various groups in the community.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was being able to assist a client during a crisis call and maintain calm. I was guided by my team members and was able to provide information and resources need in that situation.

What advice would you give?

Don't be afraid to try something new! New experiences allow you to explore and learn more about yourself. You can learn you’re what you are capable and limited to doing.
