Responsibilities

Group Visit Intern: I primarily help our middle school counselor plan and host middle school students from all over Iowa on our campus. I am responsible for a number of tasks during group visits including collecting contact cards, giving campus visits, and assisting with the transportation and supervision of students.

Accomplishments

I have improved my public speaking skills greatly while in this role as a result of giving announcements, giving tours, and managing large groups.

What advice would you give?

My advice is to take a step out of your comfort zone and stay open-minded!
