During my internship at LifeTime, I was a part of their Dynamic Personal Training team. My responsibilities were to host workshops, gather clientele, and build my business as a personal trainer within the facility.
My greatest accomplishment was receiving the award "Service Champion of the Month" award for the final month of my internship.
The biggest lesson I learned was how personal training was much more than knowledge of kinesiology, it spans much wider such as marketing yourself and making sales. Make connections with as many people as you can because it's a smaller world than it seems.
What advice would you give?
I would advise future students to be patient, professional and work hard. Keep an open mind and constantly thrive to learn about our passion.
