Lynne Chalfant

Responsibilities

I work with the Dean of Students on the Webster City campus. I assist her with high school visits to recruit students, help when students come in for guidance or counseling, help when students come in to register or prepare for future classes, help when students are feeling overwhelmed or frustrate with their experience, and more. I help the students at Iowa Central in any way that I can, to ensure they are having a happy and healthy experience.

Accomplishments

I have helped many students who have been feeling overwhelmed get back on track and learn valuable life skills. I am helping people every day and I love that rewarding feeling.

What advice would you give?

Get out of your comfort zone. Be willing to step up and help others or do something a little different. It can make a big difference in someone's life.
