Responsibilities

My responsibilities included styling, steaming clothing, packaging orders and shipping them, doing live sales every week on Facebook, researching brands and styles, picking out new merchandise to be sold in the upcoming weeks, photography of outfits and garments/accessories, and social media. I did a lot of everything during my internship since it is a smaller company, but I loved all of it.

Accomplishments

The greatest accomplishment I had during my internship would be all of the new skills I learned in each area of merchandising. I was able to help create the new website coming for TRAE as well as the Instagram. I got to work on many different projects, and take a lot of pictures, so to see my pictures on the website is a big accomplishment.

What advice would you give?

Advice I have for future students is to make sure and reach out to as many people as possible. It's all about the connections you make, and your attitude. Take every opportunity you can get, because it's all experience that will help you in the future. Also, be positive throughout your journey and experiences it will make things much easier.
