Responsibilities

My responsibilities during my internship included completing management tasks alongside my store manager, practicing visual merchandising, tracking the store's sales and how we could improve those sales, learning the background of Evereve, recruiting processes, buying and marketing, and personal styling.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment during my internship experience was being offered a future position with the company. This is my greatest accomplishment because it showed that my hard work and dedication paid off and was seen by my superiors. My main goal was to be a beneficial asset to Evereve, and I feel that I accomplished this goal and am excited about the future.

Learning experience

The greatest lesson I learned was patience. An internship is an important learning experience, and although I would love to dive head first into the real world and receive my dream job, it was important for me to learn that it takes hard work and dedication to get where I want to go, and I have to be patient and work towards my goals one step at a time.

What advice would you give?

My advice to future Apparel Merchandising and Design students would be to apply to any internship you can, it is important to put yourself out there; you never know what can happen. Another piece of advice would be to work as hard as you can because this is a huge opportunity to set up your job after graduation and make great connections!
