Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment during my internship experience is that I was able to help prepare, coordinate, and plan a major college football game under ESPN at Frisco Bowl through FC Dallas.

Learning experience

Some of the greatest lessons I have learned from my internship is that not everything goes as planned, I always need to have back-up plans prepared. I also learned that you have to put yourself out there and open up to make you and your work known. Lastly, not everyone agrees on everything, but you have to make the best out of every situation and compromise.

What advice would you give?

Some advice I would give to future students in my major is to make sure to get some experience before applying for internships, it will benefit you greatly in the future. Also to apply to as many internships as possible, but do not get discouraged if you get denied. Lastly, don't be afraid to speak up or put yourself out there, communication and connections are important.
