My responsibilities at White Ivy Events consist of planning and producing memorable parties for our clients. A few of my day-to-day tasks were contacting vendors, pick-ups and drop-offs of decor, and attending client/vendor meetings. During the production of the event I mainly worked on design set up, bridal party coordination, and vendor coordination.
My greatest accomplishment at White Ivy Events was helping to plan and produce a 50th Wedding Anniversary for a client. It was amazing to see such a fun event be planned from start to finish.
What advice would you give?
Find a boss that you love working for because it makes the long hours worth it when you can help not only yourself but also your boss become more successful. Also, make the most of the internship by asking as many questions as possible. You might be surprised at just what all you learn.
