Responsibilities

I was responsible for observing the PTs, leading patients through various exercises, scribing for the therapists, assisting the front desk (answering phone/scheduling/ organizing charts/CareConnections) ,maintenance of the clinic (laundry, cleaning, etc.), and also helping with Rock Steady Boxing.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishments from this experience were learning how to navigate outside of my comfort zone and be confident in every action I put forward. Additionally, I was able to cultivate relationships with patients to help them feel more cared for while in the clinic.

What advice would you give?

Take every opportunity you can to broaden your scope of experience- even if you aren’t sure how to do it, ask for help, and always be grateful for every challenge handed to you.
