Mason Brinkman

Responsibilities

I student taught at Central Elementary School in Nevada, Iowa, for my first 8 weeks, and was in charge of the physical education classroom for early kindergarten through fourth grade. For my second 8 weeks, I was in charge of high school physical education at Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah.

Accomplishments

I was able to incorporate my own tennis plan with high school students and all students were able to complete the skills assessment and written assessment that I had made for them. This showed my development as a teacher and the willingness of the students to learn.

What advice would you give?

Listen to your cooperating teacher and always remember that you never stop learning. Be confident in your abilities and show that confidence through preparation and how you address the class.
