What advice would you give?

My advice for future students would be to develop some sort of work ethic before you enter a summer internship. Yes, academics are important and require a lot of time and effort, but employers love to see young interns who know how to take initiative and want to get things done. Working a side job in college also give you experience of working alongside other people and you will figure out how you get along with others, or how you react when you have a conflict with another person. My last piece of advice for future students would be just keep going and striving. A lot of times people tend to give up or lose motivation after not getting what they wanted. I find it so important to look at it from a perspective of a destination into the future, not what is just right in front of you. As long as you keep working and striving continuously, you will find opportunities pop up in front of you.
