Responsibilities

I worked right with the owner of the boutique. I learned how to be a stylist for customers that came into the store, I ran the social media and took photos for the social media, I also made and designed graphics for the store and for all of her social medias. I learned the business side of the store and got experience with market to see and pick out clothing for the upcoming seasons.

Accomplishments

I got to make and design embroidered shirts for the store. They are selling the products at the store, and I have even seen people wearing them at Iowa State! It's so exciting and humbling to see people wearing my designs and seeing them being sold in an actual store.

What advice would you give?

Pick the internship where you will be the happiest and don't worry about what other people are doing! You are the one that matters in your experience, so stay true to yourself and find the place that is the perfect fit for you!
