I am the Communications Intern, so I am responsible for updating the company website. I also help with social media, posting things that relate to the organization and its mission. I take part in the annual fundraiser by looking for donations and helping wherever I am needed.

My greatest accomplishment has been taking part in an organization that helps so many well-deserved people. It is great to see what it takes to run a larger than life organization and how many things contribute to the underside of things. I am grateful to be able to help in a fundraiser that will tremendously benefit a great organization like this one.

What advice would you give?

My advice to future students is to not stress too hard about finding an internship. Just remember to look around at all the various options in the city you want to work in. It is also wise to email potential places that you are interested in and ask them about any possible internships. I would also say to try and manage your time because things can get away from you, if you don't set a schedule or keep track of the things you want to accomplish. The easiest thing i found is to keep a notebook that is internship specific and write down, weekly, everything I want to get done, and then I keep track on whether I do it.
